2. A Reputation for Quality Products
As we’ve added features to Lightspeed headsets, we’ve also paid attention to quality and reliability. For example, Lightspeed headsets are built out of lightweight, yet durable materials such as stainless-steel headbands that hug the head without squeezing and magnesium cups designed to fit comfortably around the ear and provide a superior sound seal. Every new feature and every model is tested to work in different environments and conditions, and every major release of the Lightspeed app is tested to be sure it works with different devices running different OS releases.
I have used Lightspeed headsets since the day I started flying. To me, nothing beats the style and fit of their headsets. With flying there are so many factors you constantly have to worry about, so having a reliable headset shouldn’t be one of them.

Flying helicopters with doors off during hot summer days at sea level, or up in the mountains, putting in the hours year-round doing tours at high altitude, below freezing temperatures during the winter or high DA during summer, the Zulus perform, providing great noise cancellation, crisp audio, and the comfort to wear (including the whole sunglasses and hat setup) even in 8+ hours/day of flying. I contacted Lightspeed about a warranty issue. I honestly wasn’t anticipating the outcome. Instead, I was surprised and delighted. Someone called me within minutes of my email, and I explained when I bought the headset, the problem that developed. And voilà, the people emailed me a shipping authorization and said that they would take care of my problem. By the way. It was out of warranty! What an excellent company, and their employees were delightful!
