Kanari Smart Alert Technology gathers data via a sensor within your headset, processes the information, and creates smart audible alerts all within the headset, based on cautionary and critical thresholds.

Lightspeed Delta Zulu provides automatic Carbon Monoxide detection and warnings. It’s simple, seamless, and safer. Just put the headset on – you’ll get audio warnings at cautionary and critical levels directly from the headset, no app required. Using the Lightspeed app, pilots can monitor and track levels of CO in their environment, no matter the level, providing sharper situational awareness and control of in-flight safety.

Lightspeed’s innovation customizes all incoming audio for your personal hearing profile. HearingEQity technology is an audio equalization system that is designed to compensate for individual hearing loss.

These new features used with the Lightspeed App create a safer, more enjoyable flying experience that extends your flying safety and enjoyment.

The Lightspeed App

The Lightspeed App allows you to personalize your Lightspeed Delta Zulu headset, track important flight data, and read sensor data in real time!

Lightspeed has launched a totally re-imagined App experience for pilots that facilitates all of the new features of Lightspeed Delta Zulu. The Lightspeed App is significant because it creates a way for you to personalize your flying experience…making you a safer pilot while enjoying your flying more.

The Lightspeed App provides a host of features to enhance your flying enjoyment and safety. It facilitates set-up activities for HearingEQity and tracking of other safety functionality. It is the user interface for a cockpit voice recorder, allowing capture, instantaneous playback, and saved retrieval of all radio and intercom-based flight communications. It serves as the data gathering, storage, and display of safety information.

Lightspeed Delta Zulu does not need to be used with the Lightspeed App in order to work, but the app unlocks capabilities and personalization that helps you expand your flying freedom.

As the CO levels increase, you will continue to get alerts fed to you in the headset that will warn you of the higher levels of CO PPM in your environment.

HearingEQity tests and personalizes your hearing experience using a specially engineered 12 frequency hearing test that transforms any hearing loss into remarkably clearer ATC and intercom communications.

You can record your live communications in the Lightspeed App via Bluetooth. You can playback 15 seconds of audio, in case you may have missed a call out for your tail number.
